Your satisfaction is our primary goal. If you would like to switch caregivers, we will refer someone different.

All complaints are brought to the attention of our CEO. We pledge to do our best to resolve any and all problems and complaints.

To whom can the family ask questions or make complaints?

Family members can ask questions or make complaints by calling our helpline. Please remember that we are HIPPA compliant, and value our patients’ confidentiality; we do not release confidential information to any unauthorized persons.

Yes. We understand that feedback and regular updates are important, so we communicate regularly with the patient's family members.

How do I arrange home health care services?

Is assistance for emergencies and/or on short notice available?

We have registered enough caregivers so that someone is available in case of emergencies or on short notice. If you have an emergency, please call our 24/7 helpline.

Is assistance on holidays available?

Most caregivers are available on holidays. If your regular caregiver needs days off for any reason, we can refer another person who can work with you.

Yes, weekend service is available. Also, remember that our 24/7 helpline provides any-time assistance.

How soon could your care start?

Our services are organized in such a way that we refer someone the same day you call.

How many hours is a minimum shift? How many hours is a maximum shift?

The minimum shift is 4 hours/day. The maximum shift is 24 hours/day.

What happens if I need different tasks done each week?

We can assist you with your changing needs. Just keep us updated or inform your caregiver in advance.

What types of services do you provide?

Do you provide temporary as well as long-term assistance?

Yes, the caregivers we refer can provide both temporary and long-term assistance.

What happens if my caregiver gets sick?

A.

If your caregiver is sick and cannot come to work, we will refer a back-up person. We are ready to respond immediately to a majority of situations that may arise.

Does the caregiver have a time card system?

A.

Yes. You will authorize the hours the caregiver worked for you. The caregiver will be reimbursed only for the hours you approved with your signature.

Are caregivers supervised?

A.

You are the one evaluating the caregiver, as he or she is working directly with you.

Can you refer caregivers who speak languages other than English, if needed?

A.

Yes. In addition to English, we also refer caregivers who speak Spanish and Portuguese.

Do you refer caregivers experienced in any special services?

Some of the caregivers we refer are experienced in special services.

What are the qualifications of the person who will do my initial assessment?

A.

Your initial assessment will be performed by a RN. To do the special assessment required by your insurance, a RN will be assigned.

What kind of training do the caregivers receive?

A.

Depending on the level of certification they may have a Home Health Aide diploma; a Certified Nurse Assistant degree; a LPN license; or a Registered Nurse license. We verify that the certifications or licenses are current.

How do you screen the caregivers?

Screening is an essential part of the registration process. We perform thorough background checks and review the references of all caregivers that register with us.

How are caregivers assigned?

We refer caregivers tailored to a patients’ individual needs. During our initial assessment, we will gain a thorough understanding of your situation so we can recommend the best caregiver for you.

Do you have proof of liability coverage?

In the case of new clients, they will call before arriving, but after you have an established relationship, they will simply arrive on schedule.

Can I interview the caregiver before accepting care?

Yes. In order to fully satisfy your needs, we recommend that all patients interview their caregivers. If you don’t feel a caregiver is a good match, let us know and we’ll recommend someone else.

Is a personalized plan of care developed with me during the assessment?

We receive your plan of treatment from your primary physician and will personalize a care plan for you based on a thorough understanding of your needs. This happens during your free initial assessment.
